Sno mtn is still making snow when ever temperatures dip below freezing(aka during the night). Cannonball, Boomer, Mainline, and the lights nearest to Whistler were on for snowmaking tonight. Everything seems to be going well in terms of snowmaking.
Will the mountain be ready even if there is a decent base for skiing? The rental 'trailer', previously known as the ski school kid's building, somewhat successfully made the journey to the other side of the lodge to it's new home. Word has it that it's still in two pieces and one would assume that indicates that it's not ready. Also, the base area is still littered with random unfinished waterpark features just waiting for next spring to come around. It's rumored that this will not be covered during the winter, but fenced off requiring skiers to navigate around.
When will Sno open? The opening day is Thanksgiving day. That's one week and counting...
