Open for the Season?

Sno Mtn's official opening has been pushed back to Friday 12/12, but unofficial rumors suggest that it may be pushed back another week. What does this mean? This means that Sno Mtn will be open from Friday until Sunday evenings only. The mountain will be closed during the weekend until the official opening date.

Sno Mtn is also adding new trails! Kinda, but not really. During the off season several of small connections/trails were removed and thus lowered the total trail count. To validate the mountains claims of 30 trails, new trails will be created from the existing trails. So don't expect to see new terrain, but only a few new names on the brochure that cannot be found.

First Weekend of the Year

Sno Mtn was open this weekend for some great early season skiing. Weather cooperated for Friday and Saturday, but Sunday's weather included clouds and rain. Minimal terrain and facilities limited the activities at the mountain, but employees were readying for the official opening next weekend. Hopefully weather continues to be optimal for snow making and more terrain opens next weekend!
